IMCA Standards and Business Terms

Presently, Marcel Häuselmann is not a member of The International Meteorite Collectors Association (IMCA Inc.).  However, Marcel Häuselmann hereby declares to adhere strictly  to all ethic an business standards as defined by the IMCA!

 

In particular, the following Terms of Business are applicable

No meteorites will be traded or sold, unless they are verified by a meteorite expert.

If a customer expresses dissatisfaction with a transaction, the customer will be given an exchange or refund! Dissatisfaction has to be declared within 14 days after receipt of the item.

Original shipping fees are not refundable and postal and other fees for returning the item (and sending the exchange piece) will have to be payed for by the buyer. All risks involved with the return (loss, confiscation etc.) will have to carried by the buyer.

Swiss Law will be applicable and place of court is Burgdorf, Bern, Switzerland.

Meteorites are a gift from heaven to humanity. Therefore, Marcel Häuselmann and all involved other parties advocate the unlimited access of Universities and similar institutions to all found meteorites for scientific purposes.

Legal Principles
All legal provisions and regulations are strictly to be observed. No research shall be done without  necessary official license or without the consent of landowners.

Safeguard of environmental heritage
From rusty nails to horseshoes and ammunition, every meteorite hunter finds lots of garbage left in nature. Marcel Häuselmann and all involved fellow hunters collect and properly dispose of all found waste.
